¿Quién debería reunirse con EdgeUno en IBC2026?

If your content has an audience in Latin America, the last 5,000 kilometres of your delivery chain will decide whether it plays.

IBC is where the industry talks about content: production, AI, cloud workflows, new formats. Very little of the conversation on the floor at RAI Amsterdam is about what happens after a stream leaves the origin. For content heading to Latin America, that is the wrong thing to skip.

The region is the growth story of the Americas. 3Vision’s June 2026 forecast puts Latin American streaming revenue at $17.1 billion this year, with SVOD subscriptions growing 25% to 178 million by 2031, six times the pace of North America. Brazil alone has 52.5 million subscriptions, Mexico 36.1 million, and Colombia is growing fastest of all. FAST revenue doubles over the period. This summer’s World Cup, with matches in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, was a reminder of how much of that demand arrives live and all at once.

Delivering into that market is hard. The ISP landscape is fragmented across a dozen national markets, transit is expensive, and a surprising share of the region’s traffic still takes a detour through Miami on its way to the viewer. Viewers know none of this. They know whether the match rebuffered.

That gap is what EdgeUno was built to close. We are a Latin American network and infrastructure company: AS7195, more than 50 locations across 17 countries, presence at 26 internet exchanges, and direct interconnection with more than 3,500 networks, which is why CAIDA ranks us the most connected Latin American network. We sell IP transit from 1G to 400G, wavelengths, private lines, colocation, bare metal and cloud on-ramps, with engineers and support in Spanish, Portuguese and English, in the region’s own time zones. We do not operate a CDN or a streaming platform. We are the network and infrastructure that CDNs and platforms build on.

Here is who we are at IBC to meet.

CDNs and streaming-infrastructure providers

If you run a CDN, you already know Latin America is the hardest region in the Americas to serve well: a dozen national markets, hundreds of ISPs that matter, and audiences spread across metros a long way from each other. Serving them well means dense presence where the eyeballs are, plus local transit and peering into the networks that carry them, without spending a year on contracts and cross-connects. This is where EdgeUno has the deepest track record. CDNs of every size, from global leaders to regional specialists, already build on our network; CacheFly’s expansion across more than a dozen Latin American metros with EdgeUno is the public example. If Latin America is on your 2027 expansion map, we should talk.

OTT platforms and sports rights holders

Going direct-to-consumer in Latin America means owning the viewer’s experience during the one hour that matters, and live sports does not forgive. Our metro-to-metro latency is the kind of number that decides whether a goal arrives before the neighbour’s cheer: 28 ms São Paulo to Buenos Aires, 20 ms Buenos Aires to Santiago. Ports scale to 400G for event peaks. And because big live events attract attacks as reliably as they attract audiences, our transit comes with network-layer DDoS mitigation, built with Corero and launched this year, that absorbs volumetric attacks before they reach your CDN or your origin.

Broadcasters and live production

Remote production between Latin American venues and hubs in Miami or Europe needs deterministic paths, not best-effort internet. We provide 10G, 100G and 400G wavelengths over the region’s submarine systems, Ethernet private lines from 100M to 100G, and Cloud Connect on-ramps to AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and Oracle for cloud playout and contribution. When the work is event-based, speed of deployment is the product, and we build for it.

Media-tech SaaS and cloud workflow vendors

Encoding, ad insertion, playout, QoE analytics: sooner or later a customer asks whether you have a region in Brazil or Mexico, and data-sovereignty rules make “we serve it from Virginia” a weaker answer every year. Bare metal and cloud on our ISO 27001-certified platform, with colocation in the same buildings and on-ramps to the hyperscalers, gives you a Latin American presence in weeks rather than a capex cycle.

Why a network built inside the region

Most global networks reach Latin America from Miami. EdgeUno is built from inside it: engineered and operated by people who live in the region, with a deliberate choice to compete on quality rather than price. We complement the CDNs and platforms our customers already run rather than compete with them; our job is to make their Latin American traffic perform. Our customers have plenty of options. They stay because it does.
