EdgeUno Gives Back To The Community

As a result of the constant digital and technological growth, today a large part of the world’s population can be connected, entertained, and informed. However, there are still communities that don’t have access to technology due to social and economic situations. In the last months of 2021, EdgeUno joined the community to give back and support the dreams of vulnerable children, teens, and the elderly in Bogotá, Rio de Janeiro, and Uberlandia.

In Bogotá, donations were directed towards the Fundación Proyecto Unión. The campaign was led by Luisa Estévez, leader of Human Resources in the country, who managed to consolidate a generous donation with the support of all the company’s employees in Colombia. The donations were delivered on November 29 at the Hogar Santa Rita de Cascia, with the presence of some of the company’s leaders.

“Everything that one does with love can be achieved, together we can help, if we have the will. Money helps but will makes the company grow and it’s a contribution to our society” – Luisa Estévez.

In Uberlândia, donations went to the NGO Ação Moradia. On December 9, more than 200 foundation beneficiaries were joined by EdgeUno employees, enjoying live music by the foundation’s band and receiving donations, with the support and planning of Ester Schaden.

“We have a dream: to create opportunities, open paths, encourage and support transformation. We are part of a movement that wants to be there every day to color the lives of children and teenagers through technology, innovation, culture, sport, and music. We have a dream and if we dream together, it might come true!” – Mehmet Akcin

In Rio de Janeiro, the Associação de Moradores do Parque Ludolf e Adjacências, benefited from donations from EdgeUno, with the support of Marcia Andrade and other employees in the Brazilian city. On this occasion, 206 vulnerable children were surprised by the Christmas spirit of the members, on December 18 of this year.
