Intellectual Property Rights Policy

1. Objective

The purpose of the Intellectual Property Rights Policy is to reinforce EdgeUno’s position on the protection of intellectual property, as well as EdgeUno’s commitment to comply with all applicable laws relating to intellectual property protection in the countries in which EdgeUno holds its operations.


2. Scope

This Policy applies to all persons working at or for Edgeuno, including employees at all levels, contractors, consultants, partners, providers, third party representatives, employees, and business associates, all of which are required to comply with this Policy and with EdgeUno’s principles and guidelines in respect to intellectual property rights.


3. Definitions

Intellectual Property: Refers to intangible creations of human intellect, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, symbols, names, images, designs, and trade secrets, which are protected by law to provide exclusive rights to their creators or owners. These protections allow creators and inventors to control and benefit from their innovations for a limited period, encouraging further innovation and creativity. All mentions of Intellectual Property in this Policy shall include Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks and Trade Secrets.


4. Policies and Guidelines

4.1. Intellectual Property Rights

Intellectual Property rights play an important role in promoting innovation and protecting investment, in particular in the digital and green economy. That is why EdgeUno works to harmonise in their projects by the intellectual property rights, and to ensure that a level playing field is available at global level.

A reliable intellectual property (IP) framework is the best way to harness creativity and enable innovative enterprises to grow. Without the protection of ideas, businesses and individuals would not reap the full benefits of their inventions or creations, and would focus less on research and development.

Edgeuno is exclusively authorized under all financial rights (processing, copying, dissemination, representation, publishing for public via tools for sign, audio and/ or visual transmission) of all kinds of products developed/produced for Training developed by only itself. It is not limited to any kind of drawing / plan / report / design / fiction / visual/ logo/ slogan/ movie/ resource code, database, software, document etc. including any kind of idea/works. In addition, Edgeuno is exclusively authorized under non-pecuniary rights having ownership of works and rights regarding Law, Decree and all legal regulations.

All software, documentation, content, information about property, products, training materials, brand, patent and all information, content and details including but not limited to these subject to intellectual property rights are confidential and they cannot be disclosed to third parties. The mentioned information cannot be used in any other training, project development, production or marketing which has remarkable similarity to them.

All intellectual property developed by employees and independent Contractors during their provision of services to EdgeUno, including discoveries or inventions made in the performance of their duties or in any way related to the business of EdgeUno, will remain the property of EdgeUno for all purposes.

Employees, providers and contractors may be given access to confidential information, data, business property, access to premises or any other business related property/information in the performance of their duties. This must be protected and used only in the interests of EdgeUno or their contractual obligations.

Failure to comply with this policy or with the applicable Intelectual Property legislation may result in contractual termination and EdgeUno may also pursue monetary damages or other remedies provided by the law.


4.2. How Can You Contact Us?

In order to use all your rights stated above, you can send your request to our postal address at legal@edgeuno.com with documents that will enable you to confirm your identity, or another written document that meets the application conditions required by the relevant legislation. You can send it in original signed form directly to our company address or by e-mail.

EdgeUno reserves the right to decline any requests upon justification, including, but not limited to: situation where there is a possibility to impede the rights and freedoms of other people; the solution requires disproportionate effort; the information is public.
